Is anyone else irritated that 'Dine Out' is basically unplayable now!?

How widespread is this bug? I have taken a few sims to restaurants for dinner dates and no one had their food stolen or got up from the table. I also didn’t have the toddler bug that many complained of, where items would stick to their hands. Guess I am just lucky, but I do feel bad for those who are having serious problems.
