Like when things come up for work or school and you have to choose one option or another? Half the time mine is only showing the first one or two option instead of all three. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. And it also doesn't tell you what each one does, which I know the school ones don't normally but usually the kids ones will say something like lowers manners and raises responsibility and that isn't showing up for me either. I am playing with no mods

Weird. It's been happening in my game for the last three or four days. It's been happening on all my different save files as well... No idea why :-(

If you're referring just to the Parenthood advice options, how many options you get and how much information you get about them is dependent on the parenting skill of the sim being asked. They don't get to see three options with the result of them until pretty high in the skill.If you're not getting at least two options for other chance cards, that's odd. However, I think only the Get Famous ones actually include a line about what will happen with each choice, the regular ones don't.

With the Parenthood one my sim is level 10 parenting and has been getting them all along with all three and what they do but it's only recently that half the pop-up is missing it doesn't even finish the bottom frame of the square. I'll try and take a screenshot later if I get another one. The chance cards it's only showing me one option not to. The parenthood ones are showing me one option half the time and two options that are half but the third one is often being left out. They are the same option ones that I've received over and over and over in the past so I know what third option should say but it's not showing up

Is anyone else missing half of their pop-up

Ohhhh.. Do you mean the chance cards? That popup in the middle of the screen and you have to chose an option?

Yes those ones. They are only showing me the number one top option instead of two or three

I'll have to echo GalaticGal and suggest a repair game. If that don't work, I'd then ask if you have mods next. If no, then I'd probably take the issue to AHQ and see if they can help you over there.

I don't have any mods... Do you know if repairing the game will affect my save files?

It shouldn't, but it never hurts to make a backup.

You could also try checking your display settings and seeing if that affects anything (both within game and on your PC itself).
