Is anyone else often annoyed by the game's animations?

I'm not massively fond of all the over the top animations but they don't bother me to much either.

I would rather they do things in a more toned down realistic way to be honest. Like when they cook in the Sims 4 it's like they are putting on a circus show. I just accept that it's the Sims 4 style. It's a bit immature for me sometimes but I feel like they are or were maybe trying to draw in a younger audience to the game. I'm hoping that the Sims 5 will tone it down a bit more.
