Is anyone else often annoyed by the game's animations?

Exaggerated animations don't usually bother me and instead I find them rather charming. The whole game has a cartoonish style after all. However, sometimes it does feel like they are trying too hard to be wacky or something. Like someone else stated here already, their cooking animations looks like they are putting on a circus show.
