Is anyone else often annoyed by the game's animations?

yes,
- there's very few, half the animations are recycled so it turns repetitive to see
- they're too childish and sometimes too extra. seriously there's no need to mount a circus every time i command the sims to cook
- they are always the same on every sim which show no real personality unlike what the walk types or the traits themselves try to pretend

i don't have as much of a problem with the cartoony aspect because the sims has always had some cartoony and silly animations, even on sims 1. but it would be nice if at least some normal tasks could be done without looking so extravagant and exaggerated.
