Is anything new coming for the Sims 4?

Question

It's the holiday season, and 2023 is soon approaching, but I have not seen or heard any word about added packs to TS4. Is TS5 the primary focus and is TS4 being sunset, or are updates still forthcoming for this game?

I know I primarily play TS2, but I have been supporting the TS4 iteration ever since they added toddlers to the game, keeping up with the packs, and I do play it occasionally. I'm surprised there isn't anything out for the holidays, but with the announcement of Project Rene, perhaps I shouldn't be expecting anything 🤔

A new infant life stage (early 2023) and two expansion packs are scheduled for next year.

Seems the OP is correct, TS4 in sunset.  With all attention going to the new baby, who cares about granny in the back room?

Thank you for sharing the link. It's good to see they are adding more TS2 lifestage gameplay to the game. I'll wait for the EPs to come out--hopefully sooner rather than later this year.
