Is it me or is the Jealousy trait more of a nuisance than anything else..?

So far all I've gotten from the Jealous trait is my Sim wants to complain about problems or talk about insecurities a lot, because he doesn't have a romantic partner yet (I'm holding off till Get Together for that -- planning to move him to Windenburg). I'm still hoping for a Faithful trait (purchasable reward trait) that would keep the random Romantic bars from popping up on my married Sims when I'm not actively playing them (seems to happen mostly with my male Sims for some reason...).
