Is it weird that I feel like I'm Wasting Packs?

So, I have a lot of packs in the Sims 4. But I feel like most of them are wasted, as I don't use some of the features very often. Some examples: I almost never go to the Spa from Spa day, or vacation in Outdoor Retreat. When festivals are in town, I go for a brief bit, but leave. I really want to make better use of these packs, but I feel like I'm wasting them. What should I do?

  • I have the same problem but mine is more that I get bored with the packs easily. I played City Living for a full day straight when I first got it and then I didn't touch Sims 4 for weeks. I'm really bad for starting new games just to delete them, but I plan on starting a legacy whenever I get Parenthood.
  • Also, I never played Sims 3. What were the Seasons and University Life packs like? I always hear people say they want them to bring it back for Sims 4.
  • It happens to me as well regarding some of the packs. it really depends on what my game method is. sometimes I want my sim to be this vegetarian, nature loving wholesome person, so I do happen to use the packs it correlates to, such as spa day and outdoor retreat.
basically, you can say my game method is rotational packs, instead of rotational households.
what I NEVER use though, is the dine out pack. I feel like this pack failed me.
  • I got Vampires purely for the tears/holes wall deco, lol. Couldn't care less about the Vampires. Some might say it's a waste but those few wall decos are infinitely useful to me.

Depends on the perspective, I guess.
