Now that I've been playing for almost a couple of weeks, I can say it's worth it and then some. Today I finally experienced how weather changes per world -- it was raining in Newcrest, but then GeekCon popped up so I sent my Sims to San Myshuno for the festival and they were having a heat wave! I love the little "surprise" holidays that don't show up on the calendar as well -- had Lottery Day and New Skill Day. The Scouting badges are a lot more fun than I expected and ties in well with Parenthood as well. Gardening is a lot more challenging but that's balanced by fewer evolution steps to Perfect. It's added so much to my game play that I'm back to spending hours on the game till my husband complains it's his turn on the computer. :o

Absolutely worth it. My advice is to watch LGR's review of Seasons...summary is he loved it! It will give you a very nice idea of what is in the ep. I love it personally. Good luck!

I paid full price and think it was worth it. Only problem I'm having is trying not to think about how if I'd waited for the Target sale I could have gotten three more packs for my giveaway. :/

Absolutely!

The expansion adds so much depth to Sims 4. It has changed my Sims' lives, and for the better! It feels more like a 'simulation' with weather. To paraphrase Lazy Game Reviewer, weather is a challenge for our every day lives - when to go out, what to do on a rainy day etc. Today I decided against my Sim going to the park as there was a thunderstorm! Or if you want to? Go for it and enjoy the challenge of a stormy day. It adds challenges and a fun dynamic to the game.

Personally, I'm glad I got it. I've been dying for seasons for a while, and I just love for my sims to be able to experience the weather changes, and the calenders give so much more depth to the game! I can add my own holidays for the first time, and how the holiday works. I even add in little events like camping trips or vacation times for my sims, so it's like they have their own family gatherings, i love it.

The thought of Seasons being worth it varies, I feel the price for me was not worth it as some of the features was streamlined or gimped but overall it is not an bad EP and there might be something in it that some may like. I got mine at an cheaper price and feel comfortable with it. The calendar is nice and all but it not all that major for me. However out of all the packs I feel are the best is Spa Day, GT, and Seasons even if the features are not full features because I am so tired of endless summer.

Definitely Seasons Always Gets use no matter how your playing and it brings more life to the world
