- The world and the build mode made it worth the price for me. I didn't care for the CAS and the adventuring was fun the first couple of times but I've never felt like doing it over again.
I think seasons is going to have good synergy with that pack, too. So if I didn't own it I would definitely be buying it. - I love the world, and the adventuring in it has a bit of challenge in that you can't do it all in one trip because of how things randomize each time. I'm getting the most out of it now that I used @Neia 's Career Builder to make myself a custom archaeology/museums career. (If she ever gets a chance to add "stuff" to promotions, not just cash, it'll be perfect! I'd love my Sims to get trowel-themed things, which could just be CC objects/CAS. Same for career outfits.)
- Anmirla8 years agoSeasoned AceIt's worth it on sale at 25% off. I say go for it. I just bought it last week and have been enjoying it.
The build/buy items are quite nice. The Jungle is impress looking and JA gives your Sims something a bit different to work with. I agree that the Seasons will make it an even better experience. - Thanks for your advice, I'll think about it
- SimsBarbie8 years agoSeasoned AceDepends on what you want from it. I like cas, build/buy, campng, or saying in an exotic world, the culture, food, and then the adventure. My sims will do different things there depending on how I created them to be.
- ChadSims28 years agoSeasoned RookieIf you really like chance cards I would say yes otherwise not much to do but walk around.
- I'd say people really oversell the randomness. Ultimately, many of the jungle lots you can't access don't have anything of note. Maybe a chest if you're lucky. They look pretty, but that's about it.
I've seen some really cool temples, though, and it's fun to build in Selvadorada, since it's got such a different atmosphere to the "suburban USA" setting of the rest of the game. Making a Central American dictatorship in the grips of a civil war is fun as heck to build, and you can make some really cool rental lots that don't make sense in Granite Falls. I'm really pleased with my grungy backpacker hostel, and I even made a ruined temple with some coffins for my vampire Sims to vacation in. - I-Sim4ever_808 years agoRising AceI was just about to start a new covosation on this I was lucky to find this thread so thanks citysimmer , I would like a few more opinons on this pack as I'm still undecided
Thanks and happy simming - I really love the clothing, recipes, and furniture included in the pack. The Latin music stations are nice, too. JA is a great pack if you want to add multicultural flair to your Sims 4 game, even if you never set foot in Selvadorada.
- simsimsere8 years agoSeasoned AceI got JA in a bundle with Toddler Stuff and Fitness Stuff for 20€. I'm glad I didn't buy the pack on release because adventuring is not something I would do often, but I'm really pleased that I have it now. I like that it adds variety to the game and completing the collections is certainly gonna take me a while. So far I'm happy with the Maxis made lots, but perhaps one day I'll build my own Selvadorada. I'm rebuilding Granite Falls just now.
