Is Media Production a decent way to earn money?

I was curious if the Media Production skill (like the Painting skill and the Writing skill) could be a decent way to make money in Sims 4?

  • Depending on your skill level in Media Production, as well as your fame level, you can make a lot of money through making videos. I've had videos that gave me $400 a day. It's quite similar to writing books. Fame raises slower than with Acting though, which I actually kind of like since it provides more of a challenge.
  • I have a question related to the media production skill. When we have a sim use the mix master music station and burn a track we get a CD in the sims inventory.
Now does anyone know a way to easily store them somewhere else but in the inventory?

I don't like clutter. If they at least stacked in the sims inventory but they don't, and if your sim is with a label they basically have to make one every day, and I play with aging off... I wonder if there is a cap for how much you can have in their inventory.

So, does anyone have a creative way to deal with the CDs they make as a bi-product of burning a track? I wish they disappeared when we send them to labels since the whole point of them is to hear them on the radion etc afterwards. We don't need them in our inventories.

I've only used them as clutter decor objects around the house. I agree I would have liked a better way to store them, like a wall mounted display where you can put your award winning albums, or a bookcase but for CDs. They clog up my sims inventories.
