Is Mt. Komorebi Broken?

I sent my newlyweds to Mt. Komorebi for a honeymoon, since it's been so hot in Del Sol Valley. I thought they could use the change of season. But, they got stuck in their rental place. I mean, literally stuck. I tried a number of times to have them go sledding together. I even tried to have them just have a snow fight. Every time I checked back on them when they didn't show up Erik was waving his arms suggesting something was blocking their path. I then brought them 'home' to his parents' house. From there I had him give a concert and act in a film. But, I want them to have a brief honeymoon. Next stop is Uni. Now, I have to figure out just where to send them. I guess they could build sand castles instead of snow pals. I'm not sure how Kayleigh will fare is they go camping. LOL My cousins did that on their honeymoon, it was kinda of bizarre — at least my parents through so at the time.

  • @EnkiSchmidt @Stormkeep Sims can ski and snowboard without having equipment in their inventory. They auto-generate the equipment and get a notification that the default skis/snowboard is "a little bit janky," which is supposed to encourage you to buy a better one later.
  • @mightysprite, that's for an actively played sim. The question is, does that happen for unplayed/not-active sims trying to ski autonomously or through player group orders?
Someone in another thread indicated unplayed sims in a club were not skiing until given the equipment. Do you know, for sure, that this is actually not true?

That's what I meant by "they rent" the equipment. Sorry for the confusion.

That's what I recalled from when I first played SE! You don't have to purchase anything, unless you wish to. :)

Bummer. I'm so sorry. Do you possibly have a back-up of that save?

i always save before doing vacations and such (habit from TS 3) so i simply returned said save to the earlier save point and deleted the corrupted one.

but it also seems the climb the mountain event is broken because that too causes me to lose my family and crashes the game if i reset them by moving them out and back in their home again, so yeah...no way to complete the extreme sports aspiration anymore without cheating...

so you might wanna watch out with that one if you were planning to do the event!

The mountain event is one of my favorite things in the game. Something that feels a bit dangerous and exciting.

Remember to click Me Too over at the bug-section. If we are really lucky it will be fixed one day. Will come back and add a link, one the phone now.

    Edit: Added link.
