Is Politican career an active career?

I'm wondering how will this politican career work. We saw politician career as a main feature in leaks. And in trailer there is a politician who giving speech. So what you think? Will be an active career or giving speech will be daily task or something for politicans?

    There is a chance they will make it an active career, I just hope that if they do it won't get repetitive and boring like GTW did. But I think they might, since with the patch before GTW they added another category in the job selection menu. I don't have screenshots atm but there are two circular icons, one is careers and one is professions. If anybody gets what I mean can you just post a screenshot? Anyway, I doubt that they would add a sub-menu just for 3 careers.
