Is Sims 4 just pretty graphics compared to its predecessors?

Is sims 4 just pretty graphics? Sims 3 apparently is supposed to be the one not praised, but yet it is! Sims 4 is pretty, but gameplay and bugs are just not allowing for it to surpass expectations. ...

To me, no. It's the most enjoyable game that provides more options I feel, despite Sims 3's creative tools, and the gameplay has so much more depth and variation.
