If you are going to buy it now would be a good time since EA is having a publishing sale and the base game bundles are fairly cheap. If you have a Target near you, I think the physical copies are like $15 now. Nowadays digital is more expensive since most don't use the physical copies anymore. I would say TS3 is more enjoyable overall, but TS4 is nice for a slower paced gameplay. I will say that I like that I tend to keep my families more connected. I often do meet ups with entire families in the parks or have toddler cousins play together in the toddler park I DL from the gallery. Definitely not something I did in TS3.
