Is Swimming In the Cold Weather Second Nature to a Sim?

One of my sims wanted to show another sim a picture on their phone in a blizzard and was standing next to a pool, I could see how the sim tried to get into it but then the sim proceeded to walk around the pool trying to find enough room to stand next to the sim and show the picture.
