Is the nurse completely useless in Get to Work or is it just in my game?

It's been bugged since forever.
There is a mod that fixes it, it's old but I think it still works. I'd give you the link, but I'm on mobile right now, so that's a lot of a hassle. I'll check back when I'm on PC.

And they always pick the one patient you need to use to achieve a task so you are blocked from progressing in your career ( except if you use a sneaky mcc delete sim).

yes the nurse is so annoying and totally useless. I wonder if the nurse will be more useful once my doctor sim will level up?

I have the mod that fixes some parts of the Doctor career. I would always have trouble with the orderly and the nurse getting in the way of patients until I started using the mod. Now, my sim can go about her job uninterrupted, while the nurse or orderly admits patients to beds, and the orderly even fixes the treadmill and X-ray machines when they break. I even saw the NPC doctor examining a patient yesterday. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to fix the fact that all the other workers in the hospital are ghosts ?‍♀️.

I've been playing the doctor career lately & have got frustrated with the rubbish piles, puddles of water & dirty machinery in the hospital! As mentioned, the nurse & orderly do nothing & since my Sim is the only one there doing any work, patients keep leaving because they get fed up with waiting. I tend to stick with one patient, diagnosing & treating them before moving onto the next patient. Last time I played I managed to get my Sim up to Chief of Staff but I think she'll now quit her job & just make money from her archaeology studies - she's level 10 now so makes good money from uncovering artifacts. She's also planning to marry Summer Holiday soon.

@83bienchen do you plan to do any gtw fixes? I also have the gtw mod but I still find the other workers useless most times.

I haven't tried this career yet but I have read about a mod for it.
