Is The Sims 4 Your Primary Video Game?

Don't get me wrong, I've played enough of The Sims 4 that I'm very, very embarrassed for myself. But I got Sims 4 few years back as my first Sims game ever, and was reluctant to do so because I knew it'd be addicting for me, which it unfortunately is.

That said, I play a lot of other games and have well before The Sims. I am a huge fan of the Dragon Age series. Those are my absolute favorite games, hands down. I also love all of the Mass Effect games, Civilization V, Saints Row 3 & 4, Crusader Kings 2, Cities Skylines, Banished, Guild 2: Renaissance, The Longest Journey series, etc.

Right now I've been alternating between Neverwinter Nights and Just Cause 2, and I need to get back into Oblivion.

I also grew up with a Sega Genesis, so I was all about Sonic and so forth in my youth. Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure was my everything.

The sims 4 is the only game I play on pc, I mostly play on Xbox but most of my time is devoted to my simmies.

I go through jags, usually what happens is I tire of playing Sims and put it down completely for a while (anywhere from a week to a couple of months), playing another game. Then, I tire of that game, and come back to the Sims 4. It's been that way for the past couple of years. The difference between the other games and the Sims is I come back to the Sims whereas the other games I may never return to.

Oh, and I am always playing Candy Crush too... hardly count that though :)

Sims 4 is my main game, but I occasionally play Cities:Skylines, been trying to get the hang of Civ VI, play Stardew Valley and need to get back to My Time in Portia now that it's out of early access. Waiting for a game called Ooblets to be released -- looks kind of cute from early videos. On the tablet I've been getting into Klondike (it has a nice storyline to go along with with production grinds, plus some assorted puzzle games (I'm a big fan of word puzzles).

Sims 4 used to be my primary form of entertainment; now since I've gotten quite bored of it I'm taking a good, long break from it for awhile.

It's interesting to see what other games simmers play. :)

Breaks are good. What games are you currently playing?

If I'm not playing The Sims, I'm probably on flash games, Band Hero or Mario Kart.

I used to play TS1 and TS2 religiously, then I was introduced to City of Heroes. I have an embarrassing amount of hours in MMOs now. Currently playing Guild Wars 2 since I'm so bored with WoW.

My highest play times for other games are Assassin's Creed, Skyrim, Fallout, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Rimworld, and Cities: Skylines.
