Lol isn’t every game more challenging and adventurous than TS4? :D :)- SheriSim6 years agoSeasoned HotshotI used to play Minecraft on a portable system, but one of my kids got me Minecraft for Christmas for my PC, the other got me EA gift cards I am waiting to use?. But those are the only 2 so far.
- DeKaythePUNK6 years agoSeasoned VanguardIt's the only video game I play.
- I went from Creatures UK to The Sims in 2000. (Creatures 3 was a lamentable mess, so loads of people were jumping with me - many of the early modders came from the Creatures community.)
Other than casual games like solitaire and hidden object, I've never been able to play anything else. I have no hand-eye coordination, and I don't like having the game set my goals. I was tempted to try Minecraft after watching my brother and his kids playing in creative mode, but just after that, they brought my toddlers back and Sims 4 finally became playable. - ldm26 years agoNew Spectator

Pretty much, lol. - Its funny how some people are always bashing sims 4 and only hang out in the sims 4 forum to insult the game. Weird. Especially when they are on here doing it frequently. Yikes.

If that’s supposed to be a dig my post (and scrolling through the previous posts I can’t imagine it’s not directed at me) you couldn’t be further off base. I actually like TS4 a lot. There are things I enjoy about the game and things I don’t. But saying that the game is neither challenging nor adventurous is hardly “bashing” the game. It’s stating a fact. TS4 is a lot of things, but it’s not those two. And that’s okay.
Bloodborne and Victoria 2 are challenging.
Breath of the Wild and the Uncharted series are adventurous.
TS4, while neither challenging nor adventurous, is a relaxing, unique, often emotional experience with a wealth of excellent tools for creators and storytellers alike. I’m glad we live in a world in which TS4 exists.
Sorry to take the thread off topic, and I’ll say nothing more on the subject. The post in question implied that anyone with criticism of the game, even when criticism doesn’t actually exist, should take it elsewhere and should have better things to do with their time. I felt the need to clarify my personal stance.- I also playnother video games, mostly business management and simulation
- I used to basically only play TS3 because it was so darn awesome. TS4 isn't engaging enough for me to be obsessively playing it yet, thus ignoring my other games. The unfortunate thing is that TS4 does some things so well that something feels missing when I play TS3, so now both games are kinda meh to me.
I play TS4 occasionally to build and the rest of my gaming time is dedicated to building an epic castle in Minecraft.
