- Simmerville6 years agoSeasoned AceI only play Sims, if not including smaller games that are more suited for a break than a weekly addiction. I wanted some other larger games in the past, but never got them because Sims take enough of my time.

I have been looking around for a game that's a little more challenging & adventurous, but haven't found anything I like, so I'm sticking with Sims 4 for now.
Lol isn’t every game more challenging and adventurous than TS4? :D :)
Oh yes, even Minecraft is more challenging and adventurous than Sims 4. :D - Lonewolf10446 years agoSeasoned Spectator

Its funny how some people are always bashing sims 4 and only hang out in the sims 4 forum to insult the game. Weird. Especially when they are on here doing it frequently. Yikes.
If that’s supposed to be a dig my post (and scrolling through the previous posts I can’t imagine it’s not directed at me) you couldn’t be further off base. I actually like TS4 a lot. There are things I enjoy about the game and things I don’t. But saying that the game is neither challenging nor adventurous is hardly “bashing” the game. It’s stating a fact. TS4 is a lot of things, but it’s not those two. And that’s okay.
Bloodborne and Victoria 2 are challenging.
Breath of the Wild and the Uncharted series are adventurous.
TS4, while neither challenging nor adventurous, is a relaxing, unique, often emotional experience with a wealth of excellent tools for creators and storytellers alike. I’m glad we live in a world in which TS4 exists.
Sorry to take the thread off topic, and I’ll say nothing more on the subject. The post in question implied that anyone with criticism of the game, even when criticism doesn’t actually exist, should take it elsewhere and should have better things to do with their time. I felt the need to clarify my personal stance.
Some people because one is saying they do not like the game or have nothing good to say about the game, you are bashing the game and forget what may be your joy, it may be someone's disappointment. I myself do not hate Sims 4 and it has some little good points but not enough to say it is spectacular and that is all I have to say about the matter. - For those wanting to debate the challenge/difficulty in the game please see this thread. Thanks! :)
https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/954738/do-you-find-the-sims-4-challenging - I play Xbox and Nintendo Switch when not playing the Sims.
- phoenixlady886 years agoNew SpectatorI like too play the Sims 4 a lot. But like I liking playing other games too and I'm switching games when I played one too much.
I'm having so many to choose from on origins and steam on my pc. Like the elder scrolls 3 to 5, Dragon Age Series; Mass Effect Series, Fallout Series; Stardew Valley, Rock of Ages, Don't Starve, ...
And even on my 3DS XL like pokemon, fire emblem, zelda, yokai watch, bravely default and second,..
And some on my Switch, not so much yet but is growing. - I play Kotor, Swtor, Civ VI, All of the Sonic games, all of the Lego games (exept Harry Potter ones) and Loz: Botw.
- I play many games - but I do not enjoy games that require other people or neighbors for me to play MY game. Game time for me - is ME TIME. So I get the most enjoyment out of the Sims series over any other game I have. I do not enjoy MMO's or mobile games very much because of the requirements to have neighbors or other players invading my game time. Let others play their games and let me play mine and that's the way I like it.
If i want to converse with other people - well I would not be playing a game. I'd be on forums or twitter , etc - not gaming. - ck2136 years agoSeasoned ScoutTitan Fall 2, on sale for $5.
Another game waiting for me to play it. :s - neylajc6 years agoSeasoned NewcomerI meant to click regularly. I play other games on Steam and on my Nintendo Switch. I'm currently playing Stardew Valley and the Life Is Strange series on Steam, and Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on Switch. I'm also eagerly awaiting the new Animal Crossing for the Switch.
I tend to prefer RPG, Simulation and Story-driven games where choices matter. The Sims games are perfect because they can be all three with Sandbox elements
