I just got an idea. How about a detective getting a job about investigating some "illegal trading activities", and it turns out to be something innocent sounding like someone illegally selling "giggle" pills or something? Older players would notice the references to drugs, while it would just go over younger players' heads. It's still better than just getting into a random house, picking up some evidence and leaving. There should be a story behind every case, much like it was in the investigator career in TS3.
