Ultimately, we all know that just about any two Sims could be made to get on together, right?Having said that, I am contemplating letting my new Sim wish for love for the first time (ever).I have never used the wishing well {from Romantic Garden Stuff} before.The Sim in question is named Yuri. A young, gregarious journalist of Japanese descent. Some time ago, Yuri met a romantic blonde at the dance party. They went on a couple of reasonably successful dates and kissed. Yuri happened to go to the Romance festival and was advised by the guru that her romantic destiny was “bleak”. She also contracted food poisoning after one of the dates.Lastly, it’s been close to a full season since she last heard from Glen. All in all, I think it’s about time for her to look elsewhere. :p Therefore, I would love to know if Yuri has a good chance of finding a good partner through a little magic (and money, I guess).

When wishing for love at the wishing well does not always end up with your sim getting their soul mate given to them, most of the time it is something else, such as a romantic interaction your sim can use on another sim. There also times instead of the wishing well giving your sim a living sim, it will give them a ghost. That has happened to my sims more times than I can count.

The only time my Sim wished for love they only got a moodlet enhancing their chance with romantic interactions.I mostly use the well to turn a Sim into a ghost quickly or when I wanted to have a ghost child without killing anyone.

I placed my wishing well in the Willow Creek Park, give me a few minutes and I'll post a picture of what mine looks like.

I had a fairly bad outcome from the wishing well with Tank Grunt when wishing for love, since she was a ghost (and she was a LIVING sim before hand too.) Since I never really used it well before figured why not wish for a girlfriend, since he seems to have a hard time getting to know any other teenagers. Got himself a ghost girlfriend, so close enough?

Dang. Yuri gave an offering of 1000 simoleans (about all she could afford too!) and then just got told to ‘Give Up’ and a moodlet for no romance for several hours. :/

I should have paid more attention to the notification. It warned me the well was unhappy with Yuri’s offering. Ops.

I was digging around my screenshots, and finally found the one I was looking for. One of my girls wished for love, and the well had given her a ghost. It was then I decided I wanted to go a different route with her, so I used a ghost cheat to turn her into a ghost as well. I couldn't resist taking a picture when I saw them do this.
