Is there a cheat to bring a ghost back to life?

I was working on the book of life, but just found out that I would have to use it before my sim died, and she's already very dead. (She randomly died from laughing!) Ambrosia seems like such a hard wo...

The Book of Life works perfectly, the expectation of it is incorrect.

The book of life fulfills the following functions
1. Maxes out needs for the sim it is written for each time it is read
2. Summons the ghost of the sim once dead

Once you summon the ghost then you can attempt to increase your relationship with the ghost in order for it to join your household (difficult task) THEN you can make ambrosia to get the ghost sim back to life
