Is there a cheat to bring a ghost back to life?

I used the wishing well and it worked for my ghost sim,, but that was way back. not sure after pets.

Hello! There is a cheat to resurrect sims, but you need a mod to be able to actually use the cheat. If you want to use this mod, you can download it! Since I can't send links yet, search up "Mod The Sims Resurrect Cheat by ferferga" and click the first link. :tongue:

To use the mod, you need to pull up the cheat bar, (ctrl + shift + c), and then type "resurrectsim firstname lastname" then it will bring them back.

Other than this, there is no way to resurrect a sim with a cheat. If you don't want to download a mod though, I would recommend just leaving their tombstone out, waiting for the ghost to visit, use the "testingcheats true" cheat, shift-clicking the ghost and adding them to your household, and, if you have the romantic garden pack, use the wishing well to wish for life. If you want an almost guaranteed life, you can shift-click the well and use a cheat for that. Here is how to bring your dead Sim back to life by using cheats:

These are instructions on how to make Ambrosia using Cheats—if you don’t have the patience to spend a quarter of a century doing it the hard way.

1. Enable the cheat bar (Ctrl + Shift + c)
2. In the cheat bar, type: testingcheats true
3. In the cheat bar, type: bb.showhiddenobjects
4. Go to build mode, in the search bar you can now search for some of the items you need to make Ambrosia. Search for both Potion of Youth and Death Flower individually and they will show up in the options. Place them on your lot and then put them in your inventory for later.
5. While on your selected sim, in the cheat bar, type: stats.set_skill_level Major_Fishing 10

Type it exact! Use spaces and correct capitalization, otherwise it will not work.

6. In the town of Willow Creek, go to Magnolia Blossom & fish in the river until you catch an Angel fish. This shouldn’t take long. There is no cheat around this unfortunately.
7. While on your selected sim, in the cheat bar, type:
stats.set_skill_level Major_GourmetCooking 10
Do this once again, but this time type in:
stats.set_skill_level Major_HomestyleCooking 10
8. Go to the fridge, select to cook a gourmet meal and near the bottom of the list of options will be Ambrosia. Make it and leave it out for your ghost to eat.

(You need to add the ghost to your household to be able to command them to eat the Ambrosia.)

*To add a ghost to your household, when you having “testingcheats true” turned on, (leftclick + Shift) on their urn or tombstone and select “Add to Household.” Now you can control them and tell them to eat the Ambrosia you’ve made.

Your ghost Sim will return to life now. Next time, just call a repairman—save yourself this hassle.

OR you can simply remove the ghost trait on that Sim if you can get them to be part of a household.
