- Nah, not really.

Yeah I know a lot of other simmers who say this."Cupid;c-16762072" wrote:

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat no complaints from Cupid :D jk jk- joleaco7 years agoSeasoned AceNo, I waited so long for seasons I definitely want them all. Not so fond of the leaf piles tho.
- l_LilMagician_l7 years agoSeasoned AceSpring is pretty useless to me, but that may be because I don't have any gardeners in my current household. I don't mind it overall, though.
- pinneduphair7 years agoSeasoned AceEven if I did dislike one of the seasons enough to want to skip it, I think I'd just end up getting annoyed by the lack of realism that would create. But I do like them all.
- I wish I could pick a continuous season for each world if I wanted. Always summer in Oasis Springs. Always spring in Willow Creek. Always fall in Granite Falls. Etc, etc.
- @hunniboo1 Nope. I like them as-is. I have it set to 14-day seasons. Like Michigan seasons wimpy-style. I'm usually quite ready for the next season in real life, but I wouldn't want to not experience them.
If you wanted to shorten one couldn't you just adjust the length in settings then re-adjust it during the next season? I think you can go as short as 7 days a season. I live in Michigan and I guarantee you can make it through 7 days of winter. ;)
Oh... @calaprfy did you know you can turn off blizzards and thunder/lightening in settings/options? Winters without the blizzards are pretty mild. - You can't omit a season but you can vary length. I love Summer and Winter so I play them as two weeks and Spring and Autumn as one. I change these on the first day of each season. This means each week is two months.
Spring = March and April
Summer = May and June then July and August
Autumn = September and October
Winter = Novemeber and December then January and February
Holidays can also be set up so you can choose to have them on the first or second week. When you switch season lengths, the game will remember which week it was in.
Tip: Don't create holidays on the same day in the same season e.g. two holidays on a Saturday in Summer. When you vary the length, one will be deleted or change to another season.
This all means if you make seasons shorter, all holidays will slip into one week and then when you return to two, the holiday will appear in the week you intended/set it up.
Hope that helps or gives you some ideas :) - I would eliminate Spring and Summer. Maybe I'm missing something but neither of these seasons seems to add much of anything to the base game. I mean yeah, o know there's some extra things (like beekeeping or thunderstorms), but overall the worlds look exactly the same as they did before getting Seasons so that's kind of boring to me. It probably doesn't help that Fall and Winter are my favorite seasons in real life too, so I probably have some bias here.
