Yes they do now. November 2017 patch brought that feature into the game. If a NPC died, you can go on there home and see their gravestone and urn. Usually they can be find on the corner of the lot but sometimes it can be at random place on the lot. I usually build cementery by collecting NPC gravestones from there house upon their death
Cool, thanks! I stopped playing right after pets but somehow didn't know about this. I think it's time for a cemetery in my game too. Glad to know my sims won't be lost forever if I play with their kids.
