Is there a smart way to locate a sim's gravestone?

A sim died from old age, but when I enter the household I can't find the gravestone or urn. Do sims die on community lots or when visiting other houses on free will? Or do they always die on their hom...

Ah, I don't know about NPCs. I think most sims will get their gravestone on the lot where they reside(d), NPC sims normally "reside" at a hidden lot, they probably leave no gravestone there. Sorry, can't help. Hopefully others can.
