Is there a way to roll back an update? The 7/18 one is breaking things
Tonight I thought I'd do some simming to help with jet lag recovery. Got a notice that needed to update first, even though off line as usual. Not knowing of the 7/18 update (have been in the UK for a while at university with other things on mind than Sims), presumed it meant EA app was involved. Silly me! It was the game. Not only has there been the usual havoc with CC & mods (MCCC has quite disappeared) but game items have been broken. Found so far:
Plants ready to harvest revert to dirt piles when watered or fertilized.
Sims that have good friends now react in horror when meeting said good friend.
They lose relationship points when conversing, assuming one can get them to talk.
They get negative thought bubbles about their good friend when in their presence.
Related issues:
The game wants to install packs that are on my secondary experimental installation. Being off line has prevented that, at least for now. Any way to make that go away?
Assorted new things are in CAS, including items with the CC wrench that I don't remember even seeing before, never mind putting it into the game.
There may well be more broken things, but have been trying to make repairs.
Is there a way to undo this? As it stands my preferred stops at DU installation seems to have been ruined.
