Is there a way to set make sims look as good ingame as CAS?

In CAS sims have so much detail but when you go into game mode they lose all of it... I have everything set to ultra (because it auto defaulted that way so I'm assuming it's not my graphics card) I'...

I'm not sure what you mean or if I've ever noticed it.

I think in live mode the sim is "brighter" because of the lighting.

Here's a pic of the same sim in both CAS and in-game on my computer. I don't really notice much loss of detail, the only thing I see is that she is brighter, which makes her skin lighter.
