My neighborhoods do not get decor if I did not buy that household a decor box with or without holidays.
I know but I could not decorate my house outside until I bought the attic decor boxes really. I could do like banners etc - but the game did not automatically do it like it does in Sims 3.- Yes, it does. It does. That is not an opinion it is a fact. The game auto decorates the houses. Not sure why you keep coming back to refute this and suggest im not being truthful. I do not LIKE the decorations, so why would I use them ? The other people who commented were helpful and are aware of the auto decorating, you are adding nothing to this thread @Writin_Reg

Also edit your holidays. Where it says theme in the upper right corner of the calendar window, select none. You will have to do this before the holiday starts because they aren't editable once in progress.
ETA: once you do this one time, it will remain that way every seasonal cycle for the remainder of your save unless you change is manually."EnjoyfulSimmer;c-16941204" wrote:
I was under the impression that the decor spawned with the "season" change , not the holidays . But its worth a try. What about just deleting EA's holidays? @Pamtastic72
@EnjoyfulSimmer
Decorations spawn on holidays, deleting the holidays will stop them from spawning but if you want to eliminate the decor and keep the game play then you can set your holiday themes to nothing and that will keep them from spawning on both your house & in the neigborhood, but you could still manually set decorations on just your house with the attic stack box if you wish. Deleting the attic stack box might keep decorations from spawning on your house, but they will still spawn throughout your neighborhood unless you edit or delete the holidays as I said before. Hope that helps. ?
You're welcome, always glad to help when I can. :)
