Is there a way to switch leaders of a club?

a sim can convince a leader to step down but it might not be successful.

I found some old threads on the subject, but they all focused on the sim taking over. I wish there was a simple way to administrate this from the panel. I had a random sim start the club back then, that's the price to pay for starting a new feature before really knowing how it works, ha...

Can't the leader step down themselves? I didn't think they had to leave the club to abdicate as leader.

I was hoping they could, but found no way yet. In a friendly club it would probably be a natural thing to take a few years as leader and then pass it on. Seems like the club system is more built for rivalry than corporation... :neutral:

I can't remember the last time I had my sim ask the leader to step down but I thought the former leader remained in the club.
