Is there a way to turn off those annoying NAPs?

Am finding those things to be of no positive value whatsoever, rather an annoyance that makes playing the game more difficult. At best they are stupid and useless (like wearing paper bags). Is there...

You must have avoided having your power shut off for 12 hours, then. That is the most annoying/frustrating/etc. one of all. I sometimes wonder how the genius at EA who thought of that one would like being on the receiving end in RL.
