Is there any gameplay value to a museum?
I have been checking out my EA-placed museums, and they just seem to have a few paintings and sculptures that you can "view". Is there some advantage to having them or visiting them? Has anyone done...

Sims in the Painter aspiration have to view a certain number of paintings -- the museum's a good place to do that. I deleted the museum in Oasis Springs and upgraded the one in Willow Creek; when we got basements I added basement space with a music room and a science lab (element analyzer and the kids' science tables), and put a telescope and the Wishing Well and new fountain (from RGS) in the courtyard. It's also a good place to meet other Sims; I see a varied range of characters.
