Is there any gameplay value to a museum?

Converting one into a restaurant definitely sounds appealing. I may call it 'Breakfast at Simphony's'

I never have my Sims visit the museums. I too am thinking of bulldozing them.. they are just wasted real estate for me. Think bulldozing will free up some space for restaurants :)

I turned the game's museum into a museum/ restaurant and it works well!

I replaced one of the pictures with the Tragic Clown one, and once my painter sim maxes out her skill I'm going to hang a copy of all of her emotional paintings within it.

There are some really inspiring ideas in this thread. Bookmarked for future reference.

I remember in an earlier Sims version visiting a museum and seeing art one of my Sims created and "sold" - I don't know if this happens in Sims 4 but it should.

Libraries can be good for Sims just starting out or for poorer families. I've equipped libraries with the kids' skill building items, so while my adult Sim is using the computer to write or program, their kid can be drawing or using the chemistry set.

I have my fully upgraded rocket ship at the park in Oasis Springs; I have a basement under the community center that I made into a general hangout (big screen TV for movies and the new video game from GT), but maybe I should turn that into a science center (element analyzer, kids' science tables, and microscope). Or I could just add a science center room to the basement.

Can you put a rocket ship on a prebuilt park lot?

I use them for dates for my intellectual sims. Haven't played with Kleptos yet, but sounds interesting.

Just thought of something else I want to do. I'm doing the 100 baby challenge. Bc I know it's going to take forever, I am having my Sims do lot's of "Paint from References" then loading them to my personal library. I plan to make a museum filled with pics and paintings of my 100 baby family - maybe a Baby Daddy room. lol. Not sure how much functionality it will add but I can place the museum in my game long after I've stopped playing my 100 baby family and this will be a cool reminder.
