is there any non rabbithole career mods out there?
I'm getting pretty sick of just playing the same careers over and over when i start a new game but i don't want to do rabbithole careers either.

This is an interesting mod to change base game rabbit hole careers into work from home careers.

If you click on the creator you can find most (or perhaps all) base game careers as work from home, like secret agent, astronaut, writer, entertainer,... .
You might also be interested in
turbo careers by zerbu. This turns base game careers careers into active careers. But you will need to set up lots for them to visit.
I haven't been able to test them ingame yet but I do plan on using the work from home mod. I prefer work from home over active careers because I don't have to leave toddlers in daycare.
