Is there any purpose to the color likes and dislikes?

They said that sims don't react to their favorite color when you are playing, because they didn't want to add that to autonomy and having sims getting interrupted all the time. I'm not sure if it adds to the environment score either, I have not seen any buff that they are getting.

But I assumed that their favorite color will affect how much score you are getting when doing gigs in Dream Home Decorator.
