Is there ANY way to get rid of tutorial instructions?

I am liking the game quite a lot, but is there ANY way to get rid of the tutorial instructions? I've been playing for a couple of days now and I'm starting to feel very harassed by all the pop ups all...

Yes, you can turn off the tutorial. Sims VIP has instructions for doing so here: http://simsvip.com/2014/08/26/the-sims-4-turning-off-the-in-game-tutorial/
