Is there any way to have quiet neighbours in apartments?

Thanks. But I'd like it without any mods. I actually wanna play the game, not "fix" everything with mods.
I thought there could be a way with gameplay, that's why I asked if having a good relationship helps. :)

I have never used the lot trait quiet but maybe you could add that to each apartment

What I like doing is just to move all the neighbors out of that building, and set the game up to where it doesn't allow sims to move into the empty homes.

One of the apartment buildings does have the Quiet trait on the apartments -- I think it's the apartment where Salim Benali lives. You could try moving your Sim into one of those apartments, maybe even evict him to the Not In World population and take over his place.

I've always liked that apartment, bc you don't get disturbed by your neighbors. However, if you disturb your neighbors, they can hear it.

Even if you have a good relationship with your neighbors, they'll get noisy on you whenever you fail to let them in when they knock on your door. That offends them, and they make you pay for it. (Unless, of course, you're in the apt. w/the quiet trait, as you mentioned you are!)

Btw-- if you cook something good, or perform something (music, comedy, etc.) well, it's likely a neighbor will knock on your door and ask to share your meal, listen to your entertainment, etc. If you don't let the neighbor in, they're going to get mad at you and make noise later.

I knew about the food but not about how they'll make noise if you don't let them in :D
