Quite frankly these ads are horrible and misleading, showing a Sims 4 cover while mentioning Sims 3 content. How hard would it be to put a little * next to unicorns with fine print reading " * Sims 3 Pets ".
... not even going to get into how amazing all of the Sims franchises are, and a more fitting idea that could have creativity meshed real game play together to make reasonable and excitable commercials for this kind of advertising campaign.
EA, all you need to do is make a survey on your website to get free feedback on how successful your ad campaign will be by asking the community. Option A, B, C, or D...really, missing out on a cheap way to help determine how well the ads would be perceived in order to more accurately predict how much the return would be based on the costs...this suggests that you are unnecessarily wasting money on the wrong things.
It does not take the Rocket Science skill to figure this out.
