It looks like they are trying to advertise all of the different Sims games at once. I guess they figured it would be a less expensive way to advertise mobile, pc, console, and handheld by combining everything together. I don't think it is by far the last Sims game, rather just a really, really bad advertising campaign.
You're probably dead-on there! I noticed over the years now there's "new" games for phones, etc. I'm like, "Seriously? I played that in the 90's!" :D
May be a good game sometimes, but certainly not new. ;)
