Just compare how Get Famous Launch trailer is different from the actual gameplay trailer. The gameplay trailer shows you how your sim can be famous and how mechanics works, but the launch trailers shows you the idea of becoming famous by becoming an actor/actress, which is what the expansion pack is all about.
@TS1299 I get what you mean and this is how I see it too. But with this ad, the difference is it actually confirms that "Yes, if you buy this game you can have unicorns in a field". The trailers you mentioned are all meant to show the basic idea and though the features they show don't work the exact way as shown, these features still exist.
The problem with this ad is that it states that having unicorns is absolutely possible in the game so you should go ahead and buy it. That's outright false and there is no disclaimer that says (oh you actually can't do that in the game)
