My honest opinion, if these EPs were priced at $30 instead of $40 and delivered the same exact content, I believe there'd be less fuss coming from the community. Only 1 EP I bought at full price. Everything else was half off (Im getting IL when its on sale). And playing through those expansions, more times than not I was glad I didn't pay full price.
I think I've paid full price for each EP. I won't say that I regret spending the money on them, it's just me thinking that they would be
more than what they contained. And you'd think by this time I would have learned better. Once bitten, twice shy. But sadly, no. I keep giving Maxis the benefit of the doubt.
Why? Because I love the series. I've loved it since The Sims. And yes, the Sims 4 got off to a horrible start, but with owning everything, and playing with it, it's made the game enjoyable for me. But as a long time player. Someone knowing how great the Sims can be, what we are getting now is just really, really sad. I still hold out hope. I have to. Been with this game since 2001. I love it.
