Island Living Storylines

I know there are already a few threads here about what people are doing to prepare for Island Living and who they plan to play when the new pack comes out, but I'm curious what everyone's specific storylines for their chosen sims are. I've seen lots of people saying that they already have storylines worked out for their sims, and I'd love to hear them.

Mine is this:

One of my saves is Lilsimsie's save, and in it, Judith Ward is pregnant when you first start. I've been playing her on and off for a while, and her daughter is currently a toddler. As Judith isn't very family-oriented, she hired a live-in nanny to take care of her daughter while she works on her career and her own life. I was thinking of two storylines:

1. The daughter runs away from home as a teenager to escape her distant and unloving mother. The nanny would join her, as she has raised the girl since she was a baby and isn't going to abandon her now.

2. The nanny, realizing the kind of life the daughter would have if she were to be raised in a household with a mother who doesn't want her, essentially kidnaps her as a toddler and moves her to Sulani where she raises her as her own.

I think I like the second one better, but I'll have to see once the pack comes out.

How do you plan to move your sims to Sulani, and what will you do with them once they arrive?

most definitely going to re-vamp or build a house in our new world :) and move my Sim family in it :D I love changing up a house by adding rooms making them bigger and smaller, adding a basement and rooftop rooms.
might even adopt a baby mermaid and raise her on the island B) <3

I am the opposite. I don't like having to renovate houses, which is why I just use gallery houses. I'm not sure a basement would work on an island, but a rooftop room definitely would.
  • Prehaps play as a mermaid and make the sim of your choice fall in love with you with your mermaid powers.
  • I came up with a couple more storylines!

My main save is my legacy save. I don't play by the normal legacy rules, so I actually play ever single sim in the family tree (who is still live, of course), so I've been trying to decide which of them to move to Sulani, and I think I finally figured it out. I just don't know which to choose.

    1. Lilian hates children (so much so that when she had an accidental pregnancy, she gave the baby to her child-loving sister to raise). Lilian currently lives in her childhood home with her two younger brothers and wants to live her life child free. However, her brothers are making that difficult as they both recently started families and there are now two toddlers running around the house. Lilian works in fashion, so much of her work is done from home. But since the birth of niece and nephew, she doesn't enjoy being home as much as she used to. She's been thinking of moving out on her own to try and live a quieter life, and Sulani sounds like just the place to improve her fashion skills and live in peace.

    2. Elliana, Lilian's sister, has been living with her elderly cousin (Theodore) who has been helping her raise her three kids. Theodore recently passed away, and Elliana has quit her job as a doctor so she has more time to spend with her kids now that she's on her own. She wants an easier life for herself and her kids. She was adopted as a baby and wants to give her own children (both adopted and biological) as good a childhood as she had, so she is considering moving them all to Sulani to enjoy the waves and the sunshine. She has a cousin who lives in Selvadorada and he raised his daughter there, and they seem to love living in their own tropical paradise. Elliana is sure that she and her children would love it, too. The question is, is it worth uprooting the kids from their home and friends?
