Island Living suntan having issues?

Are you sure you removed/updated any kind of cc skin replacements and overlays?

I have a smiliar problem. My sim has round spots of white all over her body so she looks like a cow :'(

I would check cc skins as @Netzspannung said. That fixed my issue of not being able to get the sims to tan. The white spots almost sounds like one of the prank options. Did any sims walk up and drop lotion on the sim?

Also, yeah, she has a skin overlay for her mermaid form...would changing it to another possibly fix it? Or removing it and readding? Cause I really hate default skin...aha

Yeah sims can prank each other while tanning and you can end up with some really weird stuff like white kisses all over or lines, etc. I am pretty sure the skin overlay is causing the issue. I had to remove mine as well and it made me want to cry...lol. Maybe modders will update skins soon.

Mine keeps saying it's too dark after 10am, which I find odd. Is anyone else having this problem? It's definitely not dark at 10am. I have changed my game play clock with MC and wondered if that threw something off. Anyone know? Thanks!

I'm having this problem too. Even at 7am it was saying it's too dark to sun tan, both on the water rafts and lounge chairs. But for some reason sun tanning is working in another game save I have, not in Sulani. I don't know if the issue is with the Sulani itself, or it's a bug. I really doubt it's a problem with my mods and cc. Hope someone can give us some help.

Hint: it didn't help. But...I believe it was Anto who released a fix for the skintone over tail thing, so now it doesnt matter that it's an issue: I can't see it under the skintone!
