To put it simply, no. There's nothing in Snowy Escape that's useful in other worlds and the "gameplay" is just watching your sim do a premade animation. In my opinion both are more like "world packs", you get a nice enough world to visit and some nice items but that's about it. If you're a storyteller you can make your own story and make it interesting but in reality it's just another pretty world with no depth.
