I don't have the mods you mentioned, the only mods remotely related to venues are Fewer random townies on community lots (not letting go of that one, not even to restore private weddings), Lot dress code and Increased NPC for hire. Though with mods the culprit could be something totally unrelated that would never come to mind. Like that one time my toddlers couldn't grow up because of custom door locks.
As for the actual wedding today, I pretended the public interest was too overwhelming to keep it private (foreign princess and old money heir) ;)
