Isn't it possible now to have social events on Generic lots?

The new patch (the one from 7. nov) was supposed to enable generic lots for various social gatherings like weddings, b-day parties, etc and I downloaded a church that is designated as a generic lot an...

I think the patch that was supposed to enable having events on generic lots did work at first, but another patch broke it. I have the issue where it's showing Windenburg's lot "summer home" as the only available generic lot. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.
