Isn't it weird that Summer Holiday AND Travis Scott are always single?

Travis Scott and Summer Holiday always end up together in my game. Along with Liberty Lee. :p

My scientist sim, Laila, moved in with Travis when I last played them (last year). I want to get them married at some point. Maybe I'll do it this weekend because I want them to have a couple of kids. Summer and Liberty are living elsewhere.

She's cold as ice. I know, back when I was playing Pinstar's Legacy Challenge, the rules state your Founder and subsequent heirs must marry Townies. I had my heir take a good hard look at her. Either they just didn't fit, but she barely gave him the time of day.

In my game he is incredibly unlucky with flirting. He gets shot down half the time, both from the ladies and the gents. But I am not in any hurry to marry him off or getting him a boy/girlfriend. His friendship with the female part of the BFF household is strictly friendship atm but that could change in the future.

I changed their house into an apartment building, housing 4 apartments where each of the BFFs gets their own space along with an elder townie I took a shine to (he was strutting around in the white skull t-shirt). Right now, Travis and his building neighbours are just building friendship with each other and focusing on their personal lives. I have all the apartments locked from each other except from their own apartments, except Travis and Liberty have given each other 'a key' to each other apartments. This arrangement does work beautifully.

Their friendship is a strange one but it works. Liberty is working on her handiness and fixes and upgrades things in Travis' apartment when needed and Travis is always around when Liberty needs an ear to listen. Travis likes to swim in the nude and has on occation, walked upstair into his apartment in all his glory. Liberty really likes to 'watch' what is happening whenever he does that. He even once, went naked into her apartment, took food from her fridge, sat down in her diningroom chair and ate with her asleep in the next room. Then he went upstairs into his own apartment and went to sleep in the buff.

Next morning, Liberty woke up and for some reason went straight upstairs into Travis' apartment to 'watch' what was happening. Somehow, from two floors up, she knew. He woke up and they started talking, eating together and watching tv, all while Travis was buck naked. That ended when Travis went to work.

And no embarrassment on either count. That did surprise me.

My old save, Travis was gay and got pregnant with an alien. In this save, he's married to Miko (I think that's her name, from Kareoke legends). Liberty married to the guy from Karioke Legends. They live next door. Liberty is still in love with Travis, but he's pretty oblivious.

Summer is married to Johnny. Oh wait, actually, Johnny lost his memory due to an unfortunate incident with a vampire. So now Summer is engaged to his evil brother Malcolm, who swooped in and took advantage of the situation.

The fact that obviously unstable situations like these exist in perpetuity is a limitation of the game engine, sims flirt with any random adult occasionally but it never goes further.

Here's an alternative back story though.

Travis likes Liberty, but she's friend zoned him. They're both enjoying the deep companionship and the living arrangement, but the truth is.. she's more into girls.

Summer likes Travis, but hasn't really tried to divert his attention because first, she's a good time party girl and keeps getting distracted by all the short term flings she has with the guys she meets. Second, she's not sure if it would affect her relationship with BFF Liberty. Liberty might not want everything Travis is offering, but might not take kindly to having the bits she does like taken from her. Summer is completely oblivious to the fact that Liberty fancies her.

Well. Summer Holiday is single because she is independent and smart. She has been married in my game one time :D. She met him at health club gathering and first they became friends. Going at the gym and living healthy life brought them close to each other and finally they got married. She is very beautiful woman with many talents. Travis Scott could be perfect match for her yeah...but he seems little too "nice" for a strong independent girl like Summer. So maybe Travis would be just sitting home disappointed while she goes to see friends, clubs and chats with neighbors. Not sure if Travis is even interested in a relationships. He seems like someone so average it´s almost sad and I definitely need to take a closer look at him. I am sure there is right woman for him somewhere in the simland. Maybe in Windenburg.

In my current save, I just moved Summer and Travis into new houses. Summer had a baby (not sure who the father is); I moved her to a house near my Sim and I'm going to see if I can get them paired up before MCCC marries her off. Travis is in a house in the "fault line" part of town; all the houses have the Quake Zone trait, and I've also got a bar with the Mean Vibe trait

In my game I always put Liberty and Summer together and they usually watch Travis since in my game it seems he's always getting into something. Like if the cops actually wandered the street in the game they'd be bailing him out every day XD He's in grave need of adults hence why they are there haha

I have Summer Holiday playing the "single mom" role, when she adopted Lisa Bunch (my teenager). Right now, Lisa can't stand being told what to do and isn't on good terms with Summer (a bit in the red, but not "Disliked" or "Despised").

Summer's parenting skills are up to 9 now. Of course she's had to discipline Lisa sooo many times that I think that was a big part of it!

I haven't seen Travis - since I moved Summer into Lisa's house.
