- This thread is gold, pure gold. Love especially the Liberty/Travis nudey story. :joy: :joy:
I guess everyone knows that I watch a few Let's Plays here and there, and the first time I really noticed Summer Holiday, was in James' The Sim Supply Rags To Riches Challenge. His Sim was Duke Silver, a guitar playing, park eating, Gym showering, bench sleeping kinda guy. I'm sure you can relate. Anyway, as soon as he got the semblance of a house, with a very new door, Summer was knocking at it. She was On The Case, and would come over two, three times a day. If anyone is familiar with James' play style, you know that he loves to grind those goals. So it was necessary that Summer be very persistent to make any sort of impression on Duke. Duke in the meantime, had discovered painting, and was going at it like there was no Tomorrow.
Summer would sit and talk to him for hours when he was painting, and multitasking was new to James then, so he was fascinated by the fact they could do this, and let her. Aside from this, tho she had a hard time distracting him. But she kept coming over, day after day. Finally they had pretty full bars, and it was almost all from her autonomy.
James had the idea that she should move in, just to support Duke with meals, etc, while he was painting. She got a job, in the Writing Career. But they would still converse lengthily while they were both painting and writing. Somehow their first romantic interaction happened, and then, we were Off To The Races. Then James had them Woohoo just to get Duke's Fun and Social up together. Summer was in.
There was a brief time period when Dina Caliente flirted with Duke, but it was short-lived. Summer was merciless and drove Dina away, even fighting her in the street outside the house. Duke was inside, oblivious to it all. The Let's Play culminated with Duke reaching his goal of 100,000 Simoleons, having a mansion, and marrying Summer. The ceremony took place in the Willow Creek Park, right near where Duke used to wait around for folks to cook, just to he could eat. The wedding got a Gold Medal.
Moral of the story: Summer will know what she wants when she sees it.....in this game, it was self made Sim Duke Silver. In the next, who knows?
Travis? I'm not sure where he was during all this. :smirk: - I always have Travis and Liberty get together. And Summer usually ends up with someone from the roomies household.
- I loved reading everyone's ideas for The BFF household.
I never pair any of them up, like some I think its unfair to one or the other who win Travis.
However, I've paired him up with many sims I've made or other premade sims, because Travis is a great all around good Sim, with some really good genetics.
Now that you think on it, I should revisit their home and play with Summer or Liberty, I never have! - ladylyricist8 years agoSeasoned AceIn my eyes, both Liberty and Travis are gay and Summer is bi.
In one of my older saves (which was an absolute favorite back then) i paired Liberty up with a sim i made named Londyn and they had 2 kids, while Summer and Travis got married and had one.
In my original legacy, i paired up Travis and Liberty (they were my founders). They've passed though, but i haven't played that save in a while. Summer also adopted a kid but she died shortly after.
I think i paired up Liberty and Summer once, but i don't remember. - Lustianicia8 years agoSeasoned Ace

How do you know he's gay? Don't make assumptions?
You're literally on a post about how a male character should be making a movie on a female character (which assumes he's straight) just because she's considered "attractive"... so, by your logic, why are we all assuming he has to be straight?
"Maybe if they are in a romantic room (emotional aura on) they might flirt? I don't know, try that."
Again, why are you assuming he needs to be straight and with a female? - Probably because he spends most of his time on a computer and dresses like a grandpa. Maybe Summer is one of those girls that looks for bad boys.
I did play the household once but just kept them as roomies. Mostly their jobs were too intensive for any social activity to go on. Well, Summer's job is not very intense but Liberty and Travis have jobs that require a lot of time investment. "lesliemhunter;c-16289650" wrote:

Why don't you do a good deed as a neighbour, level up the Science career and clone Travis ? Everyone wins."ZilogMan;c-16290300" wrote:

The mind now boggles:
If there are two of Travis and both are gay, will they fall in love with each other?
You just don't get this with Skyrim."plopppo2;c-16290303" wrote:

In a modded Skyrim anything is possible. ;)
