I can’t get behind all of this. Some of it, maybe.
Promo is ran by EA, they give info to GC and they make video about that info. Not surprising that there’s overlap with the content there.
I know most of them do make their own original content. It’s not news worthy since it’s either them playing or creating, but it’s original and I haven’t seen any explicit copying of that. Building a house, doing a LP, etc is not running the same content.
The only part I can maybe get behind is PZ. I know James has been a huge fan of planet coaster, and he’s been talking about P Zoo for awhile as well. Not a coincidence that his friends, who also happen to be big Sims YT creators, also now make content with the game. Not necessarily a bad thing as it does help P Zoo, but I could see that as trying to ride the popularity of his PZ videos while Sims does not have much going on. I do think it’s healthy for these YT channels to spread their wings a little bit so I’m not going to knock them for doing that.
